Note: er legal notices (copied by author from article in possession of Ralph Wantland) Petition for Partition Nancy Shaw, widow, George Shaw, Upton Shaw, Shadrack Shaw, Meshack Shaw, Harris Griffin and Rebecca his wife, John Rhodes and Rachel his wife, Samuel Davis and Mahala his wife, Mark Greer and Matilda his wife; Joseph Wantling (sic) and Miriam his wife, will make notice that a petition was filed against them on the 6th day of Febraury, 1856 in the court of common pleas by Henry M. Young and Elizabeth his wife, and is now pending wherein the said Henry M. Young and Elizabeth his wife demanded partition of the following real estate to wit: the northeast and northwest quarters of section fifthteen (15), township seven (7) and range ten (10) in Knox county, State of Ohio except thirty five acres, more or less, sold off from the east and north side of said north east quarter, and that at the next term of said court after avertising the notice forty days application will be made by the said Henry M.
