 Wife of Elwin Supervisor Ill Short Time
 Mrs. Minnie Burt, wife of Superintendent Joseph W. Burt of Elwin, died atg 3:40 o'clock Monday morning at the Decatur and Macon County hospital. She would have been fifty six years old in July. Her illness was of short duration. She became suddenly ill at her home a few days ago and fell unconscious. She was brought to the hospital at once, but efforts to restore her were unavailing.
 Mrs. Burt's maiden name was Minnie Richardson. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Richardson and was born in Macon, JULY 17, 1872. She was a member of the Methodist church in Elwin. She was well known in the community and had a great many friends.
 ONE DAUGHTER She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Miss Bessie I. Burt of Elwin. she also leaves a sister, Mrs. Charles Woods of Decatur and the following brothers: Edward Richardson of Storm Lake Ia, George Richardson of Macon, Charles Richardson of Storm Lake, Ia. and James Richardson of Assumption. The body was taken to Dawson and Wikoff, funernal directors, and prepared for burial .
 The funeral will be held at ? o'clock Wednesday afternoonat the Methodist church in Elwin. The burial will be in the Macon cemetery.
