Note: Served in the Navy in WWII. DECATUR HERALD & REVIEW Wednesday, April 7, 1993 MACON-- Robert D. Renfro, 65, Parma, Ohio, formerly of Macon, passed away Tuesday (March 30, !993) in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Renfro was the son of John and Esther Renfro. He sold and installed Barcol Doors. In November he sold his business and retired. Surviving are his wife, Betty Gentry Renfro; daughter, Linda; son, Danny, and granddaughter, Esther, all at home; sisters, Virginia Wantland; Magdaline Woods; Kathern Steele; brothers, John and Max Renfro of Decatur. Burial was in Pharma, Ohio. Arrangements were by Hopko Funeral Home, Parma. Robert Renfro, founding member of St. Columbkille Pharma Robert D. Renfro and his wife Betty, were founding members of St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Parma. Mr. Renfro, 65, died of kidney failure Tuesday at St. Vincent Charity Hospital and Health Center. He was born in Macon, Ill., and lived in Parma. He came to the Cleveland area in 1951, worked as a carpenter and became a partner in Barcol Door Co. in 1959. He started his own Renfro Door Co. in Parma in 1973, selling and installing commercial and residential overhead doors and door operators. He sold the business and retired last year. Mr. Renfro served on the board of the Diocesan Holy Name Society of the Diocese of Cleveland, was an usher and was active in the Holy Name Society at St. Columbkille. He was a member of Carpenters Local 112. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Linda, and son, Danny, both of whom live at home; and a granddaughter. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Hopko funeral home, 6020 Broadview, Parma. The funeral will be 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Columbkille Church, 6740 Broadview Rd.
