 VIRGINIA WANTLAND Virginia Wantland, 81, of Urbana died at 11:47 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 30, 1997) at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
 Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Road, Urbana. The Rev. David Alberts will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.
 There will be no visitation. Mrs. Wantland was born Jan. 28, 1916, in rural Macon County, a daughter of John A. Renfro and Ester Richardson Renfro. She married Ralph Wantland on Feb. 19, 1936, at Paris, Ill. He survives.
 Other survivors include a son Larry Wantland of Morristown, N.J.; a daughter, Judith Anne Kiesler of Urbana; a brother John J. Renfro of St. Charles, Mo.; two sisters, Magdaline Woods of Palatka, Fla., and Kathern Steele of Decatur; and two grandchildren.
 She was preceded in death by an infant son, her parents, four brothers and a sister. Mrs. Wantland was a dealer in antiques and participated in shows throughout the Midwest. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Urbana.
