Note: Decatur Herald & Review 16 Feb 2006 DECATUR - Fae Renfro, 79, of Decatur, died 7:15 A.M., Wednesday, February 15, 2006, at Manor Care Health Services, Decatur. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, February 17, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Macon Cemetery, Macon, IL. Memorials may be made to Bethel Bible Church. Fae was born January 7, 1927, in Weldon, IL, the daughter of Henry and Fern (Cotton) Goken. She married Walter William Renfro on December 22, 1945. He preceded her in death in March 1985. She is survived by her sons Donald R. Renfro of Decatur and wife Denise of Maroa, Gary W. Renfro of Decatur; daughter Darlene Renfro German and husband Doug of Decatur; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; sister June Renfro and husband John of St. Charles, MO; brother Dean Goken and wife Anne of Jacksonville, Fl; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter William (Bill) Renfro - retired Caterpillar employee, son James Eugene (Jimmy) Renfro and brother Lawrence Goken of Huntington, IN. Fae was a lifelong member of Bethel Bible Church and a true believer of God and his amazing grace. She will be sorely missed by all who have known and loved her. We love you, Mom, Grandma, and Grandma Great.
