a. Note:   last name has other spelling variations: Waddel, Waddell Nancy Shaw's will was intially rejected when first presented to the probate court by Meshac Shaw. When presented again by Joseph Wantland, it was probated and Joseph made a final report after a year. He then resigned and the court appointed Samuel Davis as executor, who sold some additional property, collected some other accounts, and made a final report (research of Ralph A. Wantland, 1982)

 NANCY SHAW'S ESTATE Notice is hereby given, that the undersigned has been duly appointed and qualified by the Probate Court within and for Knox County, Ohio, as Administrator on the estate of Nancy Shaw, deceased. All persons in debt to said estate are notifed to make immeadiate payment to the undersigned, and all persons holding claims against said estate, are notified to present them legally proven for settlement within one year form this date.
