Note:   Harrison County Marriage Bond No. 9 Know all men by these presents that we Stephen Coddington and John Veatch are held and firmly bound unto Isaac Shelby Esqr Governor of the State of Kentucky & his Successors in the Just and full sum of fifty pounds current money & for payment well and Truely to be made to our said Governor his Successors We bind ourselves our heirs Exor Admors & C as Witness our hands and Seals this 11 day jof August 1794
 The Conditon of the Above obligations is such that Where as William Moore clerk of Harrison County hath this day issued a license For the Marriage of Stephen Coddington & Rachel Wilson.
 Now therefore if there is no lawfull cause to Obstruct sd marraige then the Above Obligation to be Void Else to Remain in full forc & Virtue Given under our hands and seals the Date above Written
