He had been confined to his bed for the past year. For six years he had been troubled with the muscles of his body contracting. He was born in Wayne County about 1835. The funeral will be held at two o'clock today at the house. He leaves a wife, two sons and two daughters. Friday, January 20, 1905 Warren Atterberry was born July 8, 1832 and departed this life Jan. 12, 1905 aged 72 years, 5 months and 4 days. He was married to Elizabeth Renfro Nov. 17, 1853 to them were born six children, four girls and two boys. Four of them survive him, two having preceded him to the other world. In the 1855 or near that time he confessed faith in Christ, became a member of the Missionary Baptist church and has been a faithful member of that church. The deceased has lived in Bethany for about ten years. More than a year ago he was stricken with nervous prostration from which he never recovered. The funeral was conducted by Elder S.E. Sines, Friday.
