Note: San Antonio Express-News (TX) 29 Sep 2005 Ida Isabelle ( "Tillie" ) Schank, age 84, went from the arms of her family into the arms of the Lord on Monday, September 26, 2005 in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Everett. They are both cherished in the hearts of her family: her son, Karl Schank and his wife Susan of San Antonio; grandson, Eric Schank and his wife Kristen of Austin; granddaughter, Kristi Gilbert and her husband Scott of San Antonio; and her dear cousin, La Verna Anderson of Denver.
The family wishes to thank the loving caregivers and staff of The Haven in Stone Oak and of Vitas Hospice. Tillie loved life and touched many friends with her fun-loving nature. She will be missed by us all. Tillie and Everett will be laid to rest together at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors. MEMORIAL SERVICE MONDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2005 7:00 P.M.
