a. Note:   DECATUR HERALD & REVIEW, Thursday, December 3, 1981 RENFRO Mrs. John A. (Esther Delene Richardson) Renfro, 88, of 1103 N. 18th St. died at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 2, 1981) in her home.
 Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Macon Cemetery, Macon.
 Mrs. Renfro was born in Dalton City, daughter of George and Eliza Richardson. She was a member of Foursquare Church. She married John A. Renfro in 1914. He died in 1980.
 Surviving are her sons; John J., Walter "Bill", Charles "Max", all of Decatur; Robert D. of Cleveland, Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Jack (Kathern) Steele of Decatur; Mrs. Ralph A. (Virginia) Wantland of Urbana; Shirley of Decatur; Mrs. I. J. (Magdalene) Woods of Palatka, Fla.; 33 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
 One son, five brothers, six sisters and three grandchildren preceded her in death. Attended Kendall Rural School (Rural Schools of Macon Co., pub. 1978, Macon Co. Historical Society), p172.
 Taught school at Milam Center Rural School, prob. abt 1914, ibid. p188.
