Note: . Funeral services for Mr. Bishop, a resident of Rt. 2, Danville, were held today at 2:30 p.m. at Fairfield Church of Christ with Kyle McWhorter officiating. Burial followed in Red Hill Cemetery with Elliott Brown Service in charge. Mr. Bishop was a native of Lawrence County, and a farm laborer. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Smoutcha Mae Bishop; one daughter, Joyce Ann; four sons, Harold, Michael, Ed, and Charles Bishop, Rt. 2, Danville; his mother, Mrs. Louella Carpenter, his step-father, Elmer Carpenter; two brothers, Leon Bishop of Decatur and Donald Bishop of Birmingham; five sisters, Mrs. Alton Archer of Tennessee; Mrs. Joe Cooper, Rt. 2, Danville; Mrs. Clinton Goode, Anderson; Mrs. Cellie Reeves of Danville and Mrs. James Dotson of Decatur; a half sister, Mrs. Otis Brewer of Fulton, Miss.
