 Mr. Owens died this morning at 3 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Lawrence County and a member of the Church of Christ.
 Body has been returned to the residence and will remain there until time for the service.
 Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Anna Owens; one daughter, Mrs. Edna Archer; six sons, James, Frank, Bill, Irvin, Huie and Milton Owens; one brother, Wheeler Owens, all of Moulton 2; 32 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
 Milford, Qualin, Aaron and Ray Owens, and Travis and Willard Archer, grandsons of the deceased, will serve as pallbearers.
 Brown of Moulton is to direct interment in Red Hill cemetery.
