Mr. Owens died Saturday, March 1, 1996, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. He was born March 13, 1923, in Lawrence County. He was a retired maintenance worker.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine Owens; three sons, Lelton Owens of Trinity, Luther Owens of Moulton and Joey Owens of Town Creek; one brother, Irvin Owens of Moulton; and five grandchildren.
Nephews will be pallbearers.

Funeral for Milton Eugene Owens, 74, of Moulton will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Kyle McWhorter officiating.
Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery
