Mr. Dotson died Wednesday, March 3, at his residence. He was a native of Lawrence County.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia B. Dotson of Decatur; three daughters, Janice Alexander of Somerville, Elaine Smith of Trinity and Betty Underwood of Moulton; five brothers, John Wayne Dotson, Carl Dotson and Earl Dotson, all of Moulton, Jimmy Dotson of Athens and Billy Dotson of Decatur; three sisters, Evaleen Dotson of Detroit, Lorene Edwards of Hillsboro and Ann Edwards of Trinity; and four grandchildren.
Nephews were pallbearers.
