Note: d grandmother. During her lifetime, she suffered the loss of two babies, three husbands and two adult children. Although her life dealt many hardships and trials, she continued to be an example of sacrificial love and support for her children and family.
Beasley was preceded in death by her father, Jack Cooper; mother, Myrtle Haynes; step-father, Willie Haynes; eight brothers and eight sisters; husbands, Ernie Key, Major Tidwell and Vernon Beasley; sons, T.L. Tidwell, Dewayne Key and Johnny Tidwell; and daughter, Belinda Cornwell.
