a. Note:   MRS. WHITING-BKINKLER
 Mrs. Whttlng-Brlnkler, the eldest
 daughter of Moore and Elizabeth
 Highland, was born In Ohio.
 March 1, 1827. and died at her long
 time residence near Campbell, IA.
 Nov. 2.
 In early childhood she moved with
 her parents to Illinois, where she
 war married to Henry Whiting in
 1848. Later Mr. and Mrs. Whiting
 moved to Iowa and settled in the
 home in which she died, up to this
 time being her residence for 60
 years. In 1875 Mr. Whiting died,
 and in 1896 she was married to Edward
 Brinkler.
 By her first husband six children
 were born, two of whom are living
 now, Mrs. Ellen Murray, Adrian,
 Mo., and John Whiting of South Da--
 kota. She was a faithful member
 of the Baptist Communion.
 Funeral services were held in the
 Hanover Church Nov. 4. conducted
 by Rev. F. J. Stevenson of Waulkee.
