Mrs. Julia Spalding
Funeral services for Mrs. Julie B. Spalding, 90, were held Monday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of First National Funeral Home with the Rev. David Hudnall, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in the American Cemetery.
Mrs. Spalding, a long time resident of Natchitoches, died Saturday, March 30, in Natchitoches Geriatrics Nursing Home after an extended illness.
Survivors include one daughter, Miss Catherine Spalding, of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Pierce of Natchitoches; and one nephew, James Pierce of Wisconsin.
Pallbearers were Earnest Greene, Herman Weaver, Woodrow Cox, Boyd Curr, and Bob Roan.
