Funeral services for Frank Richard Bond, 66, of new Orleans were held in the chapel of the blanchard funeral Home on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Troy V. Wheeler, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiated. Mr. B. S. Swett sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere".
Pallbearers were J.H. Williams, Hunter McNeely, Jr., R.B. Williams, Arnold Higdon, S.E. Howard and Charles Mazuerette.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Bond, the former Miss Elva Nash of Natchitoches, and four sister, Mrs. N.L. Pierce and Mrs. D.[O.] W. Spalding of Natchitoches, Mrs. Clarence S. Smith, Oakland, California; Mrs. A. Y. Hays of Lexington, Ky.
Mr. Bond died at Southern Baptist Hospital, New Orleans, on Monday. Funeral services were held at the home of Tharp Sontheheimer-Tharp on Monday evening at 7:30 o'clock.
