 Isabelle Sophia Milne was a daughter of Early Settler Andrew Milne and Jane Stringer Milne. Her parents emigrated from Dundee ,Scotland to Chicago where their first 5 children were born. They then traveled with the children by covered wagon to Dysart, Iowa arriving in 1866.
 Her siblings were Sarah M , Susannah A, David A , William W, all born in Chicago as was Isabelle. Then Robert B, James B and the twins George Herman and John Frederich Milne.
 She married Charles Frederick Vaubel and had four children:
 Jennie Reah, Oliver Charles , Earl Frederick and Lyle Andrew Vaubel.
