Yandell died Tuesday in an Evansville, Ind., hospital, having been a patient there for the past several weeks as a result of fracturing a leg while near the croquet section of the court house lawn. born and reared in Crittenden his entire lifetime was spent in this county and city. Born in the Frances community April 14, 1857, his early years were spent with his parents, the late John A. and Margaret Yandell, and Jan. 28, 1885 he was married to Miss Florence Pierce. He was one of the founders and prominent members of Marion Baptist Church and a liberal contributor and a long time leader in Republicans ranks.
