Note: Newspaper clipping: One of the saddest accidents in our church life was that of the hurt suffered by Norval Pierce on the play ground at school, which resulted in a rupture of the splenn, from which he died Friday morning, April 24th. The funeral was held on Monday afternoon, the 27th. A great throng of our people gathered in the chapel, showing in what high esteem our brother and sister Pierce are held and how deeply the church sympathizes with them in the death of their son. The new address of Mr. and Mrs. Pierce is 6913 Harvard Avenue. They are conducting a sandwich shop at 338 West 69th street. Our church is like one big family; we all grieve with brother and sister Pierce byt rejoice with them in the beautiful life to which their son has gone.
