 According to Forks of Elkhorn, her father, Benjamin, died in Va, and she, her
 family and step-father, Thomas Ayres, came to KY in 1801. If this is true,
 then she was married in VA. The tax records of Gallatin Co., which start in
 1799, show Samuel Sneed in 1801 and John Scott in 1802. John Scott posted a
 bond in Gallatin in 1800 (Wills A., p.3).
