Note: Bio notes: Ronald Twedt, 74, of Eldora, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Valley View in Eldora. Ronald David Twedt was born October 22, 1941 in Roland, Iowa to Otto and Margaret (Rafdal) Twedt. He attended Roland High School graduating with the class of 1959 and Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls.
On October 21, 1962 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Morris at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Eldora, Iowa.
Ronald worked at Dornsbach Lumber in Eldora for two years. Following that he worked for Dodger Manufacturing in Eldora for forty two years, holding various positions which included product scheduling, production manager and plant manager. He retired in 2006.
He liked camping with friends, watching NASCAR and especially enjoyed trips to Disney World with kids and grandkids. Ronald was a member of the Eldora Lions Club, Eldora Jaycees and the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Eldora, where he sang in church choir.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Margaret Twedt and his brother, Roger Twedt.
Memorial services will be 10:30 am Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Eldora.
