a. Note:   Married Ann Campbell Wotherspoon in Kelty, Fifeshire on 1 January 1929. Copy of Marriage Certificate obtained from National Records of Scotland, Ref: 410/2 13 Marriage Certificate Florence Jessie Bowrah reads "the Divorced Husband of Anne Campbell Burdekin formerly Wotherspoon, Spinster". 19 Dec 1942.
  Also married Evelyn Daisy HUNT at Medway, Kent in September 1932. This was found to be bigamous, as JAB had married Anne Campbell Wotherspoon at Kelty, Fifeshire in 1929. (Burdekin/Hunt Medway Kent 3rd qtr 1932 Vol 2A Page 2499)
 An Evelyn D Hunt is recorded as marrying Alfred W BAKER, also at Medway, Kent 1st qtr 1933 Vol2A Page 1208. Same person????
