Notes
a. Note:   He worked in the "local" iron industry. The steel industry was "BIG" at this time in the Pottstown area.
Isaac and wife Clara lived all of their married years at 550 Willow St., Pottstown, Pennsylvania This house was passed down to their son Earl H. who passed it down to his son Richard and daughter Doris. Doris and Richard lived there until their deaths when the house was sold. There was a Strouse at that address for over 100 years.
Their first three children are buried together in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown, Pennsylvania. Isaac and Clara are buried there too. There are empty lots on both sides of their children. This is a possible spot for them. Both Isaac and Clara's obituaries state they are buried in Fairveiw Cemetery, Boyertown, Pennsylvania. We looked the whole cemetery over and no stones are there for them anywhere.
Isaac's family bible is in the posession of their great grandson Brian Strouse.
