 OBITUARY RECORD
 Benjamin Strouse died at the Pottstown Hospital at 2:30 yesterday afternoon of pneumonia. He had reached the age of 74 years and 29 days and was a miller by trade. Deceased is survived by four sons, Isaac, Jacob, David, and Isaac Strouse of Pottstown, and one daughter, Mrs. Frank Wentzel of Pottstown. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:30AM. All services will be held at the house. Interment will be made at Amityville.
 NOTE : The Daily Ledger ( 1895 - 1918 ) was an evening paper back then.

 OBITUARY RECORD
 Funeral Urn.
 The funeral of the late Benjamin Strouse took place from the home of his son-in-law, Frank Wentzel, No. 403 Walnut Street, on Saturday, and Rev. J. B. Kurtz, pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church officiated. The floral tributes included a burial blanket from Mr. and Mrs. William Baker and a bouquet of carnations from Mrs. Howard Shirey. The pall-bearers were four sons of the deceased, Benjamin, Jacob, Isaac and David Strouse. Interment was private and was made in the Amityville Cemetery. Funeral Directors Kepner & Romich had charge.
