 Gabriel H Maurer
 Gabriel H Maurer, 87, of 76 Middle St., Locustdale, died Sunday in Ashland State General Hospital. He was born in Locustdale, October 29, 1900, a son of the late Samuel and Mimma (Rusk) Maurer. Mr. Maurer was last employed as a miner in Potts Colliery. He was a member of Evangelical Congregational Church, Locustdale. His wife, the former Arlene Edwards, died in 1974. Surviving are a daughter, Jeanette Jones, Ashland; a son, George "Pat", of Levittown; three grandchildren; a great-grandson.
 Services will be held at 11 am Wednesday from Frederick T Kull Funeral Home, Inc., Ashland, with the Rev. Robert Long, Evangelical Congregational Church, offciating. Interment will be in the Citizens Cemetery.
