Note: She worked at many "local" resturants and was employed as the dietitian at Pottstown Junior High School from the time it opened until 1948. MRS. LAURA C. (KEISER) LEVAN Mrs. Laura C. (Keiser) Levan, 66, wife of the late Harvey L. Levan, 616 Walnut Street, died yesterday at 7:15 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Anna, wife of Paul R. Davis, 935 Queen street. Ill for several years, she had been bedridden at the home of her daughter since the past August. She was born in Pike township, Berks county, the daughter of the late Tilghman and Catherine (Dierolf) Keiser. She came to Pottstown as a young girl and lived here for most of her life. She was employed as a cook in several High street restaurants and was dietitian at Pottstown Junior High school from the time it opened until her retirement five years ago. She was a member of Zion Reformed church, Dames of Malta, Lady Orioles, and the Golden Age club. Besides her daughter, Anna, she leaves one sister, Lillian, wife of Raymond Eck, Mertztown RD, Berks county; four brothers, Howard, Bowers, Berks county, Horace, Topton, Berks county, Edwin, Topton, and William , Hill Church, Berks county; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Service will be from a funeral home at 112 North Washington street Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Howard A. Kosman, pastor of Zion Reformed church, officiating.
