Notes
a. Note:   from the location of the dake cemetary in greenfield township (on the north creek rd.) proceed north less than .5 mile to sand creek rd., turn left, in about .3 miles turn left on daketown rd. to the right side there is an old daketown rd. angling off. it is mostly dirt, gravel and sometimes just grassy. if you miss this turn, it rejoins the daketown road in less than .5 miles again. on this road at the west end. north side is a fairly well maintained daketown school house ( 1 room schoolhouse). when facing this schoolhouse, walk to the right, back towards the sand hill rd. in direction. in the woods, with signs posted state land on the trees, on your left side you'll notice a stone wall of an old farm field paralleling the road. follow this, maybe .1-.2 miles,a few hundred feet, the wall in a round curve, bends away from the road. this is the driveway into the homestead. it is overgrown, mostly bushes, but walkable. follow the wall in, 5-8 min. walk; the wall ends and the foundation is on the right when you walk just a little further. if any further location information is needed, just email me. my phone is 518-439-1538
