ORMSKIRK 8b 731 (probably in Tarleton). In 1851 Census the family is living in N. Meols, Reg dist ORMSKIRK, sub reg Bickerstaffe. The birth date is Baptism date from LDS IGI. Bap confirmed LOPC N Meols From LancsBMD a Henry T died in Tarleton age 71 Note by 1881 he is a butcher not a farm labourer. From 1861 census there is a Thomas Southworth(25), a wheelwright, boarding with them. No doubt he is a relative of Parnell. The marr. cert. gave much of the info. on this family. The parish church, Banks would be St Cuthberts. Hugh James do not appear on the 61 census for Tarleton because they are with their grandmother Jane in N Meols. Later. This statement may not be true. These boys could be the children of John and Elizabeth. This begs the question where were Hugh and James sons of Henry Taylor?in 61 census Hugh and James are Henry's children because they are the right age. William in N meols is the wrong age to be the son of Henry. John another son of Jane T is living with his mother and wife Elizabeth and is a possible father to the Will. (11) there. Henry (5)(b. Rufford) could also be their son---not the son of Henry T. in Tarleton. There is possibly a brother of John and Henry---William. He had a son Henry of the right age.
