Note: e-mail from Sandie Halliday: In my family history there is a John F Heath born about 1861 in MI that married Olive Adelaide "Hattie" Brown on 9 Oct 1881. This was according to Michigan marriage records. Apparently, he was also alled "Charley". Anyhow he drowned somewhere around 1884 leaving 3 small children which her mother later gave away to a passing stranger. Does any of this sound familiar? I would be happy to share what I have of Olive's family.
