a. Note:   [All children of Courtland and Sarah are listed in their home on 1900 census, though I do not know if any of them actually resided there. I have found 4 children so far listed "at home" and also listed elsewhere. I believe that whoever was interviewed by the census taker, thought he wanted all children listed whether they were still at home or not. - LZN]
  I went to the Brindley-Crank reunion 7-Jun-2003 (also birthday party for Mary Ellen Brindley, granddaughter of Alfonso Crank - age 75). Her youngest sister is Alberta who is a widow. There were either 5 or 6 children of Mary Ellen's parents. Alberta was 2 when they moved out west. Mary Ellen has been married I believe 3 times: "Mary Ellen Brindley-Morse-Ariaga-Torrey", met several members of the family there, but do not remember names, etc. hoping I can get back to them soon.
