Notes
a. Note:   *per Amy Olson: he was shot when an old hermit caught him messing with his fish traps; the old man who shot him, later hung himself.
*per Thela Brown: he was shot when he & a friend were stealing apples in Montmorency Co, MI area, his friend was scared & told no one, so Lloyd bled to death.
*per Ruby Nichols: same as above except he was stealing watermelons in Detroit area & she didn't know that he was with a friend. It happened right after her marriage to George
[I believe the story about the fish traps is the correct version, since Aunt Amy remembers Jean Stitt brought a newspaper article over when it happened, and Jean says that the article was from the Detroit News. I intend to get a copy of this article to confirm this before removing the other 2 versions, however. - LZN]
