Note: *Steve Norton says (2007): I heard about 25 years ago from my Aunt Ruth Norton from here that the Sheldon's would have family re-unions in Michigan every year. I'm way out west here in California, it was to far for me and no money to travel with at that time. Anway, I am 56 years old, married to Patty and for 35 years now and we have no children, medical problems on my part. My sister and brother Kathy and David each have three children. I live in Redding, CA My Norton's left Michigan around 1910-11 and came out to Idaho. Lorinda Sheldon Norton is buried at Priest River, Idaho. I found a long lost Norton clan in Spokane, Washington
