Emmendingen) Dragoon Mathias Ehrismann from Botzingen left secretly (without permission) on the 12 of this month his garrison in Mannheim. He is ordered to report here or to his regiment within 4 weeks, or he will be considered a deserter and the consequences according to the law imposed.
At the same time all officials are to look out for him, and if captured to be sent here or to the Grand Dukal Command of the 2. Dragoon Regiment in Mannheim.

 Emmendingen, 31st January 1845
 Grand Dukal administration.

Added by Tom Garrahan: I just found out that mathias (Mattherw) was drafted into the Civil War in 1863.
