a. Note:   Father disappeared when he was 18 months old, mother remarried John Isaak of American Falls Idaho. Mother dies when he was 8 years old. Lived with Aunts and Uncles in and around Naper NE, USA. Worked as hired hand until grown. Gotthilf recalled how kind the Isaak boys were to him and His siblings. After Christina's death, Erhart Mogck recalled the trip back to Naper, NE, USA with Grandpa and Grandma Friedrich Herrmann. They rode a train and Gotthilf was always in trouble because he found in fun to stick his head out of the train window and catch the wind.
