Note:   Tilda (Mrs. Morgan) Brown obituary - 1941 Surname: Brown, Melton, Martel, Cullen, Bell, Givens, Herron Mrs. Morgan Brown Dies Tuesday at Pleasant Valley d 22 Apr 1941 Mrs. Tilda Brown, 65, died suddenly of a heart attack at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at her home at Pleasant Valley. She had been in ill health for about four years. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist church near Marion. Surviving are the husband, Morgan Brown; two daughters, Mrs. Tommie Melton of Lisman and Mrs. Harold Martel of Indiana; a son, John Lee Brown of Pleasant Valley; her mother, Mrs. Z.B. Cullen of Providence; a brother, Clarence Cullen of Providence; four sisters, Mrs. Ida Bell of Providence, Mrs. Ella Melton and Mrs. Everett Givens of Pleasant Valley and Mrs. J.L. Herron of Nashville, Tenn.; and six grandchildren. Last rites were to be conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Pleasant Valley church. Burial was to be in the Cullen cemetery.
