Barbara Maxine Culbertson Nichols of Frenchburg, Kentucky, wife of the late Earl Nichols, departed this life on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the age of 84 years, 8 months and 5 days. She was a daughter of the late Ben and Alma Landrum Culbertson born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on February 9, 1931. Barbara is survived by four daughters, Janet Green (Jerry) of Potsdam, Ohio, Sandy Norman of Dayton, Ohio, Karen Spencer (Kim) and Debbie Little (Randy) all of Frenchburg, Kentucky; one brother, Kenny Culbertson of Pomeroyton, Kentucky; a special friend, Vernie Landrum of Olive Hill, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Nichols; her parents, Ben and Alma Landrum Culbertson; one brother, Warren Culbertson; one sister, Juanita Strickland; one grandson, Shannon Spencer and one son - in - law, Ronnie Norman. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
