Note:
Martha's will was recorded in Hempstead Co. Ark. but seems to have been written in SC. Will of Martha Mitchell can be found in the South Carolina Archives. Will of Martha M. Bradley, Sumter Co. Wills, Vol. 1, Bk. M, pp. 33-34. Original Will sent to Arkansas, Volume B, pp. 7-11, Hempstead Co. A copy of the will is on page 102 & 103 of "They Came to Cass Co. Tx." by Ellisue Barber Morris.
Another source indicates that the will was recorded in Will Book M pg. 111, July 27, 1837.
Her son Thomas R. Bradley may have been in Hempstead Co. AR.
After the death of Ellisue Morris's mother she and her siblings were going through old books and found a backless book with this inscription, "This book is the property of Martha Mitchell Bradley" [They Came to Cass County, Morris]
