On the "Widows Blank For Reclassification" information from Sarah states that
Benjamin Franklin Jones died on the 9th of June, 1883 in Troop County, GA. On
the application "Of Widows Of Deceased Soldiers Or Sailors Of The Armies Of The
Confederate States Or The State Of Alabama" the date of death is stated as the
first day of July, 1892. There is no date on the first application, but the second
application is dated October 21, 1915. The form on the first application mentioned
above states that it was approved by the Legislature on October 5th, 1920, so the
second mentioned application is older.
