 Carroll graduated from Auburn University in 1970 with an engineering degree and was a
 member of Tau Beta Pi honorary society.
 After working in industry for a few years, Carroll went back to graduate
 school at the University of Alabama and received a Master's in Business Administration.
 Carroll worked at a variety of jobs in his field in many different industries. He was active in
 both Montgomery and Atlanta laryngectomee associations.
 He is survived by his loving brothers and sisters: Mary Anne King of Yorktown, VA;Mike Hughey of
 The Colony,TX; Rick Hughey of Dallas, TX;and Patricia Hughey of Audubon, PA. He had seven nephews
 and nieces who will keep his memory going forward.
 Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday January 30, 2010 at St. Andrew's
 Catholic Church on Clayton Avenue with burial to follow at Oakwood Annex Cemetery.
