 The names are very interesting since I know that there is a Joseph Stowe b 23 Jan 1774 in Brookfield, Worchester, MA to Joseph Stowe and Sarah Adams. Since the name Sarah Adams is given to one of Joseph's children I would have to assume that he was naming her after her grandmother. It would also lead me to believe that possible the maiden name of Joseph's wife Cynthia may very well be Hale. Based on these assumptions I am going to connect this line but continue to search for proof.
