GASTONIA NC - Mr. Otis Jones Jr., 75, of 2122 S. Lee St., died July 17, 1996 at Carolinas Medical Center. Burial in Gaston Memorial Park. McLean & Son Funeral Home. Masonic Services presented at Graveside. A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late Otis Jones Sr. and Irene Good Jones. He was a retired machinist and welder for Carson Machine Company. He was a member of Maylo United Methodist Church, member of Lowell Masonic Lodge, active in Coaching Masonic Rites and member of Oasis Shrine. Surviving are his wife, Gladys Ouzts Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy Jones and Michael Ellis of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Karen Jones and Johnny Cherry of Gastonia; brother, Gettys Jones of Gastonia; three granddaughters, Staci Ellis, Brittany Pickler, and Hanna Cherry.
