  Isaac death at 80 years of age resulted from drowning while crossing Horsepen Creek.
  Isaac built his home, "Oak Lawn", one mile from McKendree church where he and his wife were members. He was one of the original trustees to whom the land of the present building was deeded. He also served as a church steward.
  It was from his father's home at Oak Lawn that James Talbert wrote his poems and woed Frances Ann (Fannie) Lowery, who he married in 1856
  Drowned in Edgefield - Mr. Isaac Ouzts, living near Elmwood, while crossing a little stream on last Wednesday, fell into the water and was drowned. Mr. Ouzts was 82 years of age and was one of the original Ouzts brothers who have done so much to populate the County with good citizens of that name. - Advertiser. The State, August 23, 1889.
