Floyd County, Georgia Probate Court Will Book covering the years, on page 340"I William Otts of said State and County, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make this my last will and testiment.
"Item first - That my lot of land no. 102 in the 23 dist & 3 section, be divided in half, by a line running North and South. That my wife Nancy to have the East half together with the improvements, together with stock, Cows, Horses, Sheep, & Hogs, the same to be in common the property of my wife Nancy, and my daughters Mary Malissia, and Savannah. The above property to be given to my said wife in liue of her hole dower and at her death of my wife the above half lot land to be the property of my daughter Mary's in fee simple.
"Item 2 - the west half of the above described lot Land to be divided by a line running through it east and west forming two equal parts, my daughters Malissa and Savannah to have the same one to have the South and the other to have the North portion, to keep and have in fee simple. Should my wife Nancy die before my Daughter Mary, then the above described half lot of Land to be Mary's to have and hold in fee simple. Should either of the other Girls marry then they are to take possesion of the property as decribed above
Item Third - I bequeath and give to my Daughter Ann Kerci, Ten Dollars in money
Item forth - I give bequeath to my Daughter Julia Silvy, Five Dollars in money
Item Fifth - I give bequeath to my Daughter Amanda E Taley, five dollars in money
Item Six - I hereby constitute and appoint A B Kerci, Executor of this my last will and testament.
