Joined McKendree Church at the age of 11 years, church activities; was charter member and Vice President of the first Missionary Society of the church which was organized while Rev. G. W. Davis was pastor. Church School teacher. Organized the Cradle Roll and was its Superintendent 11 years, resigning in 1921. Director of the Golden Cross, 1931-1933. Chairman of the Benevolence Committe, Member and local Treasurer of Woman's Society of Christian Service.
