  Willie Davis Dorn, 93, of 5502 Holmes Ave, Columbia, died Sunday morning [May 14, 1961] at the Baptist Hospital after an illness of several months. He lived in Columbia and Cayce for the past 72 years and was formerly of Edgefield County. He was a son the late Herlong Dorn and Luvicy Outz Dorn of Edgefield County and was a retired Hoisting engineer of the Seaboard Railway Company. He was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Cayce. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Edna Mixon Dorn of Cayce, two daughters, Mrs. H. A. Winged of Columbia, with whom he had made his home for some time, and Mrs. J. D. Caughman of Cayce, four sons, Arthur and E. E. Dorn both of Cayce, J. Y. Dorn of West Columbia and W. E. Dorn of West Columbia and Lexington; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Interment in Mount Tabor Cemetery. Thompson Funeral Home. The State, May 15, 1961.
