  Edgefield, July 4 - Yesterday morning, Mrs. Belle Ouzts died at her home hear Edgefield, after a lingering illness which extended over a period of a year or more. She was in her 73d year at the time of her death and had been residing in Edgefield about 30 years. She was reared and passed her early married life in the Celestia section of Edgefield county, now Saluda county. This good woman possessed a kindly and generous nature , always finding delight in making others happy, especially the members of her home circle. In the earlier days of her life, Mrs. Ouzts was an active factor in her church, having been a member of the Methodist church from early childhood. Mrs. Ouzts was the widow of Sheriff W. H. Ouzts and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charlie Cheatham and Mrs. R. E. Morgan, and three sons, J. P. Ouzts, W. G. Ouzts, and G. O. F. Ouzts. Interment in the Village cemetery. The State, July 5, 1917.
