  Mrs. Louise Ouzts Cheatham, 87, died in a Greer nursing home [24 Jul 1963] after several months of illness. She was a daughter of the late William H. and Isabella Adams Ouzts and was a native of Edgefield County. For many years she lived in the Friendship Church community of Greenwood County. Mrs. Cheatham came to Greenville nine years ago to live with her daughter, Mrs. Paul E. Turner, 33 Hindman Drive. She was a member of Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church of Greenwood County, but attended St. Matthews Methodist Church of Greenville. Her husband, Charlie Cheatham died many years ago. Surviving also are 2 other daughters, Mrs. Paul E. Turner of Greenville, Mrs. O. S. Mesch of Sparta NJ and Mrs. Donald L. Hall of Chapel Hill NC, 2 sons, Charles E. Cheatham Sr of Greenville and W. Y. Cheatham of Greenwood; a brother, G. O. F. Ouzts of Edgefield; 10 grand children, and 16 great grandchildren. Burial in the Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery near Greenwood. Pallbearers will be J. O., James and J. Burns Ouzts, John Henry McDowell, John G. Kelley, Jr. and W. C. Tomlinsom. Greenville News.
