  Greenwood, Aug. 21 - Mrs Martha Ouzts, 90, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mollie E. Freehand, in the Good Hope section of Saluda county, this morning after a long illness. Interment in Magnolia cemetery here. Mrs. Ouzts was twice married. Her first husband was Abney N. [sic. M.] Buzhardt who was killed in battle in the fighting around Richmond during the Confederate war, and her second husband was H. D. Ouzts, who died in 1917. She is survived by four sons. J. M. Buzhardt, Callison; J. D. Ouzts, Newberry’ W. F. Ouzts, Savannah GA and John E. Ouzts, Denver CO, and three daughters, Mrs. Freehand, Mrs. W. D. Lindler, Whitmire, and Lula Lee, Spartanburg. The State, August 22, 1933.
